Here are popular answers to typical questions we have observed when using our subscription option:
1 – CAN I SPECIFY THE DATE MY SUBSCRIPTION WILL SHIP TO ME?
Yes and No. Hmmm. Don’t you hate that answer? Here, let me explain.
The actual DATE you initially place a subscription order is the technical date of the order. We then ship you orders between 24-48 hours after that date. In fact we try, as often as possible, to ship under that 24 hour mark.
So if you place your subscription order on, say, January 12th, your continued monthly subscription orders will all ship around the 12th-14th (or closest M-F business day) on every month after that.
What you cannot do is place an order on January 12th, using that same date as above, and leave a special note in the order to the effect “I want all of my subscription orders to ship on the 1st of each month”. That isn’t a policy we have but a limitation of our shopping cart system to allow for that.
Therefore, the bottom line is IF YOU NEED YOUR SUBSCRIPTION TO SHIP AROUND A SPECIFIC TIME OF THE MONTH (e.g. 1st, 15th, “end of month”) THEN YOU WILL NEED TO PLACE YOUR INITIAL SUBSCRIPTION ORDER [THAT STARTS YOUR SUBSCRIPTION] AROUND THAT DATE.
2 – CAN I CHANGE MY SUBSCRIPTION ORDER CHOICES DOWN THE ROAD?
No you can’t. Again, this isn’t our policy but is controlled by higher level policies set by our payment processor, Stripe.
If you desire to change which coffees you will receive moving forwards a few months after your initial subscription started simply do this:
- Log on to you account
- Cancel your current subscription
- Return to the subscription order page and simply create a new subscription with your new choices.
- Referring to Question #1 above, try to do this on or about the same date as the original subscription IF the date is critical.
- Then beginning from that point forward your new choices will be reflected in all future orders.
